Elbert Parden has returned as a regular at our house this year and has already shot a perfect 300 in the Thursday night Men's League. With one week left in the season Greg Amerine shot his first 300 here in the Thursday night Men's League
It was tournament time for honor scores. James Murphy shot a perfect 300 in the Annual N. Hwy 5 USBC. Tournament. During the Missouri Team Challenge, hosted in March, two non-house bowlers shot perfect games. Ervin Ratliff, Jr., Concordia, MO and Joel Robbins, Windsor, MO accomplished the feat.
New all time house scratch series 817. Gary Wiemers shot games of 269,269 & 279 during the Tuesday After Niners League. Gary continued with a hot hand in the Summer Scratch league recording a 299. Ray Hess became the first bowler in the Senior Mixed League to shoot a 300. Newcomer, Adam Lowrance shot a 300 in the Thursday Night Men's League followed by David James the last night of the league with another perfect 300. Doug Anderson battled the 45' oil pattern to score a 299 in the Tuesday After 9er League. During the Friday Nite "NO TAP" Howard Gaston shot a "natural" 300 without the help of any no tap strikes. Chris Twomey repeated his perfect game from last year in the Monday Nite Mixed League. Again that ten pin stopped perfection leaving Elbert Parden with a 299 in the Tuesday evening men's league.
This year's "USBC Annual Tournament" was highlighted by a perfect 300 game from Chris Twomey. Gary Wiemers beat the heavy oil pattern on Tuesday After Niners shooting another 300. The dreaded 10 pin derailed David James from his perfect game, leaving him a 299 in the Tuesday Night Men's League. Bill Lagergren shot a 299 in the Thursday Night Men's League. Aaron Hickerson was also cursed by the 10 pin, shooting a 299 in the summer Scratch League.
Tied for high scratch series of 803 are Gary Wiemers "Senior Classic League" and Elbert Parden "USBC Annual Tournament." Shooting honor scores during league play are Elbert Parden with two 300's, Bill Lagergren and Doug Anderson with 299's and Jeff Chorpening with a 298.
Congratulations to Elbert Parden for shooting a scratch 802 series in the Thursday Night Men's League. This is the first 800 series in the 36 year history of this bowling center.
